Crossroads Staffing is hiring a Welder / Equipment Maintenance Technician for a reputable drilling equipment supplier. We are seeking an experienced welder with strong Flux Core (FCAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding experience to support the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of drilling tools and heavy equipment.
Key Duties
- Flux Core (FCAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding
- Fabrication and repair of drilling tools and heavy equipment
- Read drawings, measurements, and specifications
- Cut, grind, fit, and finish metal components
- Equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair
- Maintain a safe and organized shop
Requirements
- 5 years of welding experience
- Strong Flux Core (FCAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding skills required
- Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
- Able to work full-time on-site in Oro-Medonte
Preferred
- Construction, drilling, mining,
or heavy equipment experience
- Structural welding experience
- Forklift or overhead crane experience
- CWB certification (asset)
Pay & Perks
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
- Bi-weekly pay
- Overtime after 40 hours
- On-site parking
- $25-$40/hr depending on experience
