Summary In the role of Wellness Curriculum Lead, you will be instrumental in editing and implementing wellness programs that promote health and well-being within the girl minority community. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will leverage your leadership skills to supervise volunteers and manage projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Editing curricula addressing mental health, emotional resilience, and holistic wellness.
Facilitate group sessions and workshops using culturally relevant practices. Incorporate evidence-based approaches like DBT and mindfulness into programs.
Collaborate with therapists and mental health professionals to enhance program content.
Measure the impact of wellness programs through data and participant feedback.
Stay updated on mental health trends and incorporate them into curricula.
Engage and meet with community members and prospective partners
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related fields.
Experience in developing and facilitating mental health and wellness programs.
Familiarity with culturally responsive approaches to mental health.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Certification in DBT or similar practices is an advantage.
