As a Youth Drug Stabilization Worker, support vulnerable youth at Marymound’s short-term program. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate stabilization and treatment options.

The Youth Drug Stabilization

Worker plays a crucial role in the Youth Addictions Stabilization Unit and Intoxicated Persons Detention Area. This position focuses on the assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized intervention plans to ensure youth and family needs are met. You will employ behavior management strategies to effectively de-escalate crises while preparing detailed reports and maintaining communication logs. Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate the admission and discharge of youth to the unit




- Implement and evaluate individual intervention plans
- Manage crises safely using behavior strategies
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of observations
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss program concerns Requirements:
- Diploma in Child & Youth Care or related field
- Five years of experience in support roles
- Understanding of harm reduction strategies
- Crisis intervention training including NVCI and ASIST
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification Make a difference in the lives of youth facing addiction challenges at Marymound.
