The Opportunity This is a role for an organized professional.
One looking to take on leadership and grow as the role does.
It includes the regulatory review of new products to ensure compliance with applicable legislation including, but not limited to regulations under CEPA1999, Hazardous Products Act, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, Pest Control Products Act and Secure Food for Canadians Act.
As a Regulatory Specialist, you will be supporting both internal and external stakeholders with the completion of customer-specific requests, surveys and forms.
All the while staying informed, as you research new and changing regulations to identify business impacts in clear and concise summaries for affected stakeholders.
Experience 2 to 3 years of direct experience in a regulatory or quality environment Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, or Regulatory Studies an asset Experience in Regulatory Affairs for the chemical distribution industry, an asset Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a propensity for sharing regulatory knowledge with confidence Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands with a substantial workload Keen sense of detail and ability to stay organized Can do attitude and willingness to be a team player within a collaborative work setting Strong Command of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power
Point) Education Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, or Regulatory Studies an asset.
