What you'll do

Lead and mentor a team of implementation engineers, ensuring they deliver high-quality and efficient customer integrations that align with our standards.

Act as the primary point of contact for any technical challenges that arise during project execution, providing solutions for complex design issues.

Cultivate a cooperative environment within the team that emphasizes open communication, teamwork, and opportunities for professional development.

Oversee the growth of the team while ensuring adherence to internal operational standards and best practices.

Identify areas for improvement within existing processes and implement changes that enhance operational efficiency.

Collaborate with various global departments to align team efforts with organizational objectives and key performance indicators.

Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all milestones are met in a timely manner.

Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their payment processing experience.





Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster their growth and development.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in payment technologies to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to facilitate smooth project execution.

Prepare and present reports on team performance and project outcomes to senior management.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing teams of implementation managers, technical consultants, or solution engineers, with a focus on goal setting and coaching.

Proven experience managing integration projects in sectors such as finance, retail, professional services, or technology on a global scale.

Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and establish effective new procedures within a team.

Experience working in complex global organizations, with the ability to coordinate efforts across different time zones.

Strong understanding of the technical and operational needs of global commerce clients and how to support them effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to engage and motivate team members.

Nice to have

Familiarity with online payment integration processes and technologies.

Experience with in-person payment solutions and systems.

Knowledge of marketplace payment solutions and card issuing programs.

Background in financial services technology and its applications in global commerce.

Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires adaptability and quick decision-making.

Skills & tools

Proficient in online payments integration techniques and methodologies.

Knowledgeable in In-Person Payments (IPP) systems and their implementation.

Familiar with marketplace payment solutions and the associated technical requirements.

Experience with card issuing programs and their operational frameworks.

Robust understanding of financial services technology and its role in supporting global clients.

Practical notes

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $165,000 to $225,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Adyen operates as an office-first company, meaning that remote-only positions are not available.
