The Merchandise Planner role emphasizes developing a bottom-up inventory plan to predict demand before each season. With over three years of experience in planning, allocations, or merchandising in the apparel industry, you will leverage your analytical skills to help create sales forecasts based on historical data and market trends. This position includes monitoring return rates and advising on inventory strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop sales forecasts based on historical data and trends
• Create an inventory plan at SKU and distribution center level
• Own open-to-buy distributions based on promotional needs
• Conduct post-season analysis for future requirements
• Review inventory for strategies on slow-moving products
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in merchandising or forecasting
• Background in the apparel or omni-channel retail
• University degree in math, economics, or statistics
• Solid analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Communicate complex information effectively
