Contribute to mental health recovery as a Community Nurse on the Assertive Community Treatment Team in North Bay. Provide intensive, client-centered care, support, and rehabilitation.

The North Bay Regional Health Centre is looking for a dedicated Community Nurse. This role involves delivering mental health services to individuals with severe illnesses through a cooperative, interdisciplinary team. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and experience in community mental health and addictions, as well as a strong commitment to recovery-based approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct home visits to assess client needs
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions
• Collaborate with team members on treatment plans




• Implement health education and disease prevention strategies
• Maintain client records and evaluate medication effectiveness

Requirements:
• Active Nurse Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 1-2 years in community mental health and addictions
• BLS for Health Care Providers certification
• Knowledge of psychiatric conditions and treatment methods
• Valid G Driver’s License for travel
