as requiredMaintain a secure work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and reporting violations to immediate supervisorControl inventory on truck, job‑site, and in/out of stock for active jobsOrganize and maintain material lists for your crewGather required materialMaintain company toolsInspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are cleanWork with building principals and supervisors to complete projectsDetect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection proceduresRespond to emergency calls as neededRequired Education & CertificationsLicensed Journeyman electricianFirst Aid Standard LevelAWP Aerial work platform preferredFall Arrest and/or Fall ProtectionClass 5 driver’s license and a clean driver abstractWhat You Bring4–5 years of experience in a commercial setting as a Lead Hand Journeyman Electrician carrying out electrical tasks associated with installations and maintenance in commercial or service settingsProficient in academic and practical knowledge of the Canadian Electrical CodeProficient at bending conduitExperience in troubleshooting electrical equipment and systemsExperience planning and carrying out electrical construction tasks in a team environmentExperience working with and maintaining various fire alarm systemsExperience performing work on power distribution systemsExperience interpreting blueprints and specificationsExperience completing underground electrical workProven track record of leading by example and providing exceptional guidance to crewAbility to form material listsCandidates must be comfortable working at heightsGood troubleshooting skills, repair abilities and installation skillsAble to work in high pressure, time‑sensitive conditionsAttention to detailStrong communications skills and customer service orientationStrong work ethic and positive attitudeAbility to supervise others’ work and coach for performanceSalary Range$45.15About The CompanyOnni has been building communities for over half a century, committing to quality construction, innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
