Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead planning, delivery, and governance on a complex digital transformation initiative within the public sector.

You will coordinate work across business, policy, technology, and partner teams, manage risks and dependencies, and drive progress from concept through to implementation and operational transition.

This is a senior leadership role within a small, cross-functional team.

What you will be doing: Lead project planning, delivery management, and governance activities Coordinate across business, policy, delivery, technology, and partner stakeholder groups Manage project schedules, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies Facilitate executive, steering committee, and working group processes Support partnership management and ongoing stakeholder engagement Ensure work progresses from concept through implementation and into operations Mentor and transfer knowledge to internal staff to build lasting capacity Produce project plans, status reports, risk/issue/decision logs, and delivery coordination materials What you must have: 10+ years of recent experience in senior project management roles Experience managing complex,



multi-stakeholder projects Experience overseeing digital transformation or service modernization initiatives Strong experience managing project governance, risks, issues, and dependencies Nice to have: Experience working with public sector organizations Background supporting social services, citizen services, or human supports-related initiatives Experience facilitating governance structures and executive reporting Robust stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills Experience mentoring teams and supporting knowledge transfer Other Information: Term: Approximately 12 months, with potential for extension Model: Contract role as part of a small cross-functional delivery team (alongside a Solution Architect and Senior Developers) Salary/Rate Range: $110.00 -$120.00/hr This role will suit a senior project manager who thrives in complex public-sector environments, is comfortable operating at both strategic and delivery levels, and enjoys building strong working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
