Introduction The Manitoba government is seeking highly motivated Maintenance Assistants to join the Asset Management Division of the Department of Public Service Delivery.
Multiple full-time positions are available in District 4 (The Pas and Flin Flon), offering stable and reliable employment.

Duties: Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, the successful applicant performs a variety of maintenance tasks at District 4 facilities.
These include lawn care, snow removal, cleaning, HVAC maintenance, building maintenance, minor plumbing, safety checks, and responding to emergencies.
The successful applicant will also work as part of a team and follow safe work practices and Workplace Safety and Health guidelines.
Qualifications: Essential: Demonstrated experience with general building, grounds and equipment maintenance including performing preventatative and corrective maintenance.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety, policies and legislation.
Ability to analyze and problem solve.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive working relationships.
Verbal communication skills.
Written communication skills.
Desired: Trade designation (5th class Power Engineer, partial or full trades certificate, BOMI Certificate) Conditions of Employment: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Must possess and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check. A satisfactory Security Check may also be required Must possess a valid Class 5 Drivers Licence Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position, including sitting, lifting, reaching, working at heights and in confined spaces Must be able to work overtime,
