Job Description Senior Oracle Utilities CC&B; Functional Consultant Location: Edmonton, Calgary, or Toronto (Hybrid 3 days/week onsite) Role Summary: Highly experienced Oracle Utilities CC&B; Functional Consultant to support large-scale utility transformation programs. 15+ years of IT and utility industry experience.

Extensive expertise in Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B;/CCNB) implementations.

Serve as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders.

Drive business process transformation, requirements discovery, solution design, testing, deployment, and implementation governance.

Work closely with utility operations, customer service, billing, metering, and executive leadership teams to deliver business-aligned Oracle Utilities solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Business Consulting & Stakeholder Management Engage with senior business leaders, executives, product owners, and process owners to understand strategic and operational objectives.

Facilitate discovery workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and business process assessments.

Lead business process transformation initiatives and recommend industry best practices.

Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and project delivery teams.

Present solution recommendations, project updates, and key decisions to leadership and steering committees.

Requirement Gathering & Solution Design Lead end-to-end requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation activities.

Conduct fit-gap assessments against Oracle Utilities CC&B; capabilities.

Define future-state business processes, solution workflows,



and functional requirements.

Develop: Functional design documents Process maps User stories Use cases Ensure solutions align with Oracle Utilities best practices and business objectives.

Program Delivery & Implementation Drive functional workstreams across all project phases, from initiation through go-live.

Collaborate with: Solution architects Technical teams Integration teams Testing teams PMO stakeholders Support data migration strategy, business validation, and conversion activities.

Participate in: Design reviews Governance meetings Milestone sign-offs Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and operational expectations.

Testing, Deployment & Hypercare Define: Testing strategy Business test scenarios Test cases Acceptance criteria Support: System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Assist with: Cutover planning Deployment readiness Production go-live activities Provide post-production support during hypercare and stabilization periods.

Resolve functional issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications 1520 years of overall IT and Utility Industry experience.





Minimum 8+ years of hands-on Oracle Utilities CC&B;/CCNB Functional Consulting experience.

Proven experience delivering multiple full lifecycle Oracle Utilities CC&B; implementations.

Strong experience leading business requirements workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.

Support Modernization Detailed Job Description: Design, develop, and maintain applications built on IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) to support core payments processing.

Contribute to the development of payment flows supporting transaction processing.

Build and support integrations between FTM and upstream/downstream systems using enterprise integration patterns.

Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues in a complex, regulated workplace.
