Ready Mix Concrete Driver -Up to $32 /HR Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Class AZ and DZ Drivers to join our team as Ready Mix Concrete Drivers.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced commercial drivers, or those looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry with comprehensive training provided.

As a Ready Mix Concrete Driver, you will safely transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout the Ottawa area while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class AZ or DZ ready-mix trucks with manual transmissions.

Deliver ready-mix concrete to customer job sites in a safe and timely manner.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings.

Load and unload concrete according to customer specifications and company procedures.

Complete delivery tickets, inspection reports, and required documentation.

Maintain qualified communication with Dispatch and Plant Personnel.

Perform minor routine maintenance and keep the truck clean and presentable.

Promote a strong safety culture by following all company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and contractors.

Perform other duties as assigned.





Qualifications Valid Class AZ or DZ Driver''s Licence.

Air Brake (Z) Endorsement required.

Experience operating manual transmission trucks.

Clean driver''s abstract and CVOR.

Previous construction delivery or heavy truck experience is considered an asset.

Ready-mix concrete experience is an asset but not requiredtraining is provided.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Dependable with a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements Ability to climb truck ladders and access equipment safely.

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver concrete chutes.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ability to work around heavy equipment and active construction sites.

Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face.

Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Reference Check and Fitness Testing.
