We''re looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join a team delivering technology solutions that support major industrial and capital projects.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of IT, field operations, engineering, and construction , helping ensure technology is in place to support projects from planning through construction and into operations.

Success in this position comes from understanding how technology enables field operations.

Whether it''s standing up technology for a remote work camp, planning connectivity for a recent facility, supporting telecommunications and IT infrastructure, coordinating physical security, or working alongside Operational Technology (OT) teams, you''ll help translate operational needs into technology solutions that keep projects moving.

Contract, Calgary, 5 days in office, Working Hours: MST Must Haves 8+ years of experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst delivering complex IT projects within industrial, energy, oil & gas, pipeline, utilities, mining, or other infrastructure environments.

Demonstrated experience analyzing business requirements and operational processes, eliciting and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements, and supporting solution design, testing, and implementation across complex,



multi-stakeholder technology initiatives Experience working with IT infrastructure, Operational Technology (OT), SCADA, industrial systems, or field technology within industrial or operational environments.

Strong business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, business process modelling (BPMN/Visio), user story development, and defining acceptance criteria.

Experience delivering Business Analysis services on the following technology domains: IT infrastructure Network connectivity and telecommunications Operational Technology (OT) and SCADA Physical and cyber security End-user technology Nice to Have CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA certification Power BI reporting requirements and data quality rules Azure Dev

Point Stage-gate project governance and structured delivery Power BI, Visio, Miro, Microsoft , Copilot, and Power Point Familiarity to using AI to improve productivity Responsibilities Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for IT/OT project scope Translate business and operational needs into requirements, user stories, and process maps Lead options analysis and support solution design and delivery activities Map current-state and future-state processes across business functions Define and support acceptance and testing for IT/OT solutions at project facilities Maintain requirements, backlog, and traceability in Azure Dev
