Job description: Work location: Montreal North, QC On site Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 Position type: Permanent We are recruiting for a well-established company in the specialized distribution sector within the construction industry, offering a dynamic and structured work environment in Montral-Nord.

Main responsibilities: Enter routine transactions into accounting software.

Perform bank reconciliations and account follow-ups.

Assist with month-end and year-end accounting entries.

Record and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Verify supplier statements and manage payments.

Participation to collection activities.

Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, managing emails, and answering phone calls.

Prepare tax returns and income declarations.

Prepare payroll documents.





Carry out any other accounting-related tasks as required.

Terms and benefits: In office, 40 hours per week (possibility to work in a 4-day week).

Potential for discretionary bonus.

Closed for 2 weeks in summer and 2 weeks during the holiday season (aligns with the construction industrys vacation schedule).

Skills and qualifications : DEC in Administration or Accounting, or equivalent education.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Bilingual in French and English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Acomba.

Detail-oriented, highly organized, with excellent time and priority management.

Autonomous, proactive, and able to support colleagues while respecting deadlines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality in all accounting-related tasks.
