Position

Director of Health, Safety, and Environment – Victoria or Vancouver branch.

Wage band: $160,000 – $200,000 annually, based on relevant skills and experience.

Position Specifications

- 5+ years of experience in an HSE Leadership role with demonstrated success in safety culture improvement
- 10+ years of experience in an HSE role
- Post‑secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Management, Business, or a related discipline
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation, or the ability to obtain the designation within a reasonable period, is considered a strong asset
- NCSO CHSC, Gold Seal, or equivalent professional credentials are considered assets
- OHS experience within the construction industry is considered a strong asset

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

- Expert knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices
- Strong understanding of construction operations, project delivery, and risk management




- Experience developing and improving Health, Safety and Setting management systems, policies, and standards
- Exceptional leadership, influencing, coaching, and relationship‑building skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance safety, operational, and commercial priorities
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and build a positive safety culture
- Ability to travel regularly to company branches and project sites
