What is the chance: Energy Safety Canada isseekinga dedicated and detail-oriented Communications Administrator to join our fast-paced

Communications team.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, this roleis responsible forplanning, developing, and implementingmarketing and communications initiativesthatsupport the Careers in Energy teamand its strategic objectives.

What will you do: Execute a variety of communications tactics, including email marketing and campaigns, external communications,analyticsand reporting for the Careers in Energy team.

Maintain and manage content for the Careers in Energy websiteandsocial mediafor stakeholder communication, storytellinganddrivingaudience awareness andengagement.

Collaborate in the creation and implementation of communications and marketing plans and schedules for the Careers in Energy team, ensuring alignment with project needs and adherence to timelines.

Take a proactive role in planning,coordinatingand executing events, overseeinglogisticsand ensuring seamless execution.

Writing, reviewing, and editing newsletters for the Careers in Energy team.

Other duties as required.

What you need to succeed: Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, orotherrelated field isrequired.





Co-op,internshipor relevant work experience considered an asset.

Experience with website content management systems (e.g., Word

Press,Drupal).

Experience with social mediaplatforms (e.g.

Linked

In, Instagram, Facebook).

Experience with Google Analytics.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canvaand Photoshop.

Experience with event planning is an asset.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure whilemaintainingaccuracy and attention to detail.

Strong writing,editingand formattingskills.

Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, and

Power

Point.

Ability to manage and update website content, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and audience engagement across digital platforms.

Working knowledge of social media platforms and content best practices, with the ability to create and schedule engaging content for a target audience.

Willingness to jump in and help with any task, big or small.

Critical thinking,analyticaland problem-solving skills.

Ability to act with independence and exercise sound judgment.

Demonstrated sensitivity,tactandinitiative.
