NSB Omega is searching for an Electrical Design Engineer for our MAJOR Utilities Client in St. John 's, NL. Assignment Description Key Responsibilities This position will be an embedded position, for and Electrical Design Engineer with P.Eng designation and currently in good standing with PEGNL, working with the Electrical Engineering team group as a design engineer. The main responsibility is to support the Capital Program delivery and working inside a project team providing Electrical Design Engineering support. This will include designing, estimating, drawing development, specification development, Tender and Contract preparation, Contract management, Commissioning and Energization Plan development, on site support, and project close out.



They will also support the Electrical Engineering department as required with Technical Service Requests and Standards development. Education & Experience Required Successful candidate must possess a Bachelor of Engineering -Electrical and hold a P.Eng designation within the Province of Newfoundland and be in valuable standing with PEGNL. Past Utility experience involving Terminal Station project/equipment up to 230 kV voltage level, including but not limited to terminal station layout, grounding studies, circuit breakers, disconnects, instrument transformer, power transformers, battery
