Security Guard Site Name: Westmount

Mall Address: 785 Wonderland Road South, London, Ontario, N6K 1M6 Hours: Monday to Friday (7AM to 3PM) Overtime Method: Employment Standards Act (ESA) Job Duties: Patrol the malls ground floor during high-traffic periods, especially during high school lunch breaks.

Monitor student behavior and address rowdy or inappropriate conduct.

Enforce the malls Code of Conduct and Trespass to Property Act (TPA), asking individuals to leave when necessary.

Maintain clear communication with the team and complete detailed incident reports.

Use and manage security equipment such as radios, keys, and CCTV.

You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.





You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance.

In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Prerequisites: Valid Ontario Security License Standard First Aid, CPR Level C Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act Superior written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy Authorized to legally work in Canada Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability.
