The opportunity This role willleadthe development of the corporate fundraising plan for Ontario and manage a portfolio of corporate relationships.

They will focus on developing partnerships with companies with head offices in Ontarioto maximize revenue opportunities for the Foundation.

The role is to source, qualify,cultivateand close new fundraising opportunities while supporting the activation and stewardship of existing partners torenewal to growthe business.

In this role, the incumbent willbe responsible fordeveloping and cultivating partnerships with corporations and brands that align with and will support the Foundation.

The role will focus on sponsorships, cause- marketingprograms, corporatephilanthropyand employee giving campaigns,while managing a growing portfolio of clients.

This role offers a hybrid work model with weekly (or as required) in-office collaboration.

Please note that this role involves regular inpersondonorand prospect meetings.

How you will make an impact every day Partnership Identification and Revenue Development Create and manage for a portfolio of approximately 75 + corporate partners and prospects to generate revenue based onidentifiedkey Foundation products and priorities through corporate sponsorships, cause related marketing efforts, employee engagementopportunitiesand corporate philanthropy.

Conduct prospect research,identificationand qualification with a goal of increasing annual growthof the portfolio of corporations capable of making annual contributions of $25,000 or more.

Design and implement thoughtfully conceived and tailored strategies for solicitations including the development of proposals, presentations, call notes and donor recognition.





Conduct face to face partner meetings as needed Activelysolicitand secure corporate support including sponsorships for events and programs nationally and in Ontario Oversee and steward relationships with key stakeholders, working in partnership with CEO, EVP, VP Development and Provincial Advisory Board members Secure, lead and conduct presentations and prospect meetings with assigned corporate accounts.

Negotiates and develops agreements (multi-year where applicable) that accurately represent the scope of the partnership, accountability to the public and HSF, and payment schedules Actively collaborate with various business units to strategize, develop proposals and presentations to secure new partners Activation Support and Stewardship Create plans for each prospect and partner to ensure coordinated effortsregardingcorporate accounts across the team.

Support the development and implementation ofbest in classactivations with and stewardship of partners by working collaboratively with Heart & Stroke business units including Development Services Team, Mission, Marketing, Communications and Community Fundraising.

Identifyand pursue opportunities for growth and expansion within existing relationships through the involvement ofcross teaminitiatives.

Lead communications with corporate partners internally and externally to ensure the successful delivery of agreements andtimelymanagement of issues.

Provideexpertiseand guidance to colleagues in other provincesregardingopportunities that may be cross provincial with key accounts on best practices of cultivation, solicitation,activationand stewardship.

Annual Planning In alignment with the organization and Development teams strategic plan,deliver onannual targets and achieve realized and campaign revenue goals.

Help grow a corporate partnership portfolio currently valued at approximately $1M with a clear path to $2M over time, supported by strategy, leadership, and shared team accountability.

Develop the annual and multi-year plan for Ontarios corporate partnership goals andobjectives.

Develop an annual budget, reviewing financial results and projections on a regular basis using reports,toolsandprocess.

Program Administration Track all prospecting and account management activities with partners in CRM database and other reporting asrequired Gather competitive information andidentifypotential opportunities and challenges in the corporate marketplace Ensure adherence to the Corporate Partnerships policies and guidelines Work with internal stakeholders to ensuretimelyandaccurateprogram administration including contract development,invoicingand tax receipting Who we need Education Post-secondary education (business administration, not for profit fundraising and/or marketing) Experience 5-7 years of corporate fundraising experiencewithdemonstratedsuccess closing and managing individual corporate partnerships valued at $50K+ per deal.

Proven successin the area ofbuilding networks and corporate relationships Skills Ability toleveragecontacts in the corporate marketplace and leverage network to develop connections Able to draw from a repertoire of knowledge,skillsand resources toanticipatepotential issues and proactively resolves through exceptional problem-solving skills Demonstrated donor focus through the ability toanticipatepartners needs and proactively search for solutions to ensure expectations are met or exceeded; Excellent project management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Solid understanding of business management practices; sales and marketing best practices; fundraising practices Basic understanding of the Foundations fundraising and health promotion brands and products What we offer At Heart & Stroke, we make it a priority to foster aculture of caring by implementing practices and programs that foster respect, compassion,trustand attentiveness to our own and others health and well-being.

This role offers ahiringrange of $80,000to $90,000, aligned with our compensation framework and your professional background.
