Job Description The community of Yorkton is seeking dedicated Family Physicians to join our dynamic Primary Health Care Team.
These positions offer a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive primary care within an innovative, multi-disciplinary environment focused on patient-centered care.
As part of our clinic team, you will provide a combination of primary care services, long term care (including rounding and on-call) and walk-in clinic services.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in addictions medicine, regional emergency room coverage and hospitalist services.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement, team-based care, and patient access, and may assume care of an existing patient panel if available.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) values education and partners with the University of Saskatchewan to support medical students, residents, and allied health professionals.
Physicians are encouraged to contribute to teaching and academic initiatives, with support for obtaining a University of Saskatchewan appointment.
Yorktonis the largest city in East Central Saskatchewan, serving as the hub for healthcare, business, and retail for a regional population of over 200,000.

Relocation Package The successful candidate may be eligible for: Thewhich provides up to $200,000 over five years to family physicians practicing, or returning to practice, in rural and remote communities in Saskatchewan Job Qualifications Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada Regular or provisional license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (or eligible to be licensed) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required Recommended - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Valid drivers license Successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage Legal entitlement to work in Canada Benefits The provides members with various physician programs and advantages,each with its own criteria and features.
