Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of our software-as-a-service clients on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Design, build, and enhance enterprise software applications across multiple product streams.
- Own features and projects from requirements gathering through technical design, development, testing, and production deployment.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and develop APIs, microservices, and database-driven applications.
- Debug complex issues across distributed systems and improve observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve code quality, performance, tooling, and development processes.
- Break down work into deliverable milestones, provide estimates, and communicate risks or blockers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction within the team.
- Document solutions and technical decisions to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.

Skills and Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with increasing ownership of developing and driving solutions.
- Proficiency with .NET Core, .NET Framework, Entity Framework/ Dapper, Web APIs, and Microservices
- Experience building database-driven applications using SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Git

Hub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- Front-end development experience with Angular or React
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
- Proven ability to work through ambiguous requirements and contribute to solution design, not just feature implementation.
- Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience building AI-enabled applications using LLMs, RAG, Agentic frameworks, Vector databases, or MCP servers
- AWS or Azure cloud experience.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
- Experience with messaging and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Previous experience mentoring developers or providing technical leadership.
