We partner closely with business leaders across the company to make sure Wealthsimple is allocating resources wisely, hitting its targets, and building toward long-term sustainability. Within Finance,



the Tax team is responsible for managing Wealthsimple's tax profiles across a growing number of legal entities and products — balancing tax law compliance while enabling business strategy. We're a small, high-trust team embedded in the business, and we hold ourselves to a high bar for both rigour and clarity. About the role As Wealthsimple grows, so does the scope and complexity of its tax structure and obligations. You'll be the key preparer for income tax and sales tax filings, provisions, and reconciliations, reporting to the Director, Tax and working closely with the other Tax Managers on the team. You'll bring strong technical grounding in Canadian tax compliance and accounting, a sharp eye for accuracy, high level of rigour in documentation, while looking for smart ways to automate and modernize workflows.
