With a strong network of locations across North America, Farrow manages over 500 employees with 15 offices and warehouses, including those of acquired company Link+ Corporation.Position SummaryThe Trade Compliance Specialist / Trade Advisor provides expert-level HS classification, free trade agreement, refund and amend adjustment and compliance information to clients and staff. The incumbent may also assist with maintain both internal and external databases, performing audits, assisting with Quality Control and a variety of related duties as assigned.Research classification for new products and/or confirm tariff used for existing items.Complete, submit and conclude all adjusting entries, including B2’s, DAS, GST, etc. This includes such tasks as researching the database, recovering files, billing, client inquiry, etc.Audit and correct existing databases.Provide counselling for verification audits.Provide guidance and assistance to the Compliance Specialist regarding problem solving, proper method of application and interpretation of tariff; government acts and regulations, etc.Review and enter free trade certificate information; inform clients ofany rejected certificates.Assist or complete requests for National Customs Rulings.Other related duties as assigned, including assisting with Quality Control of entries,



attending client meetings, general office support, etcEducation and ExperienceHigh school education or related experience.Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) in good standing (must maintain).Minimum of 5 years of rating experience.Note: Consideration will be given to holders of appropriate diplomas or qualifications from other institutions or organizations (e.G.
