Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Project Accounting Advisor II to join their team. As a Project Accounting Advisor, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting project accounting and financial management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Accounting Advisor

Location: North York, ON

Pay Range: $44.58/hr

What's the Job?

- Analyze complex project transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting for project accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and discrepancies
- Assist in audit preparations and provide documentation support as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices

- Proven experience in project accounting or related financial roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
