Waterloo Regional Health Network is seeking a qualified individual to immediately step into the role at their Midtown location. This full time position entails managing inpatients with solid tumors and malignant hematology while participating in admission processes and treatment management.

You will have the support of a second hospitalist and a dedicated nurse practitioner, with an optional overnight and weekend call system.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cover the inpatient oncology unit during the day
- Admit patients from the Emergency Department




- Administer care for patients on chemotherapy
- Collaborate with oncology specialists in the unit
- Participate in a backup system for oncology

Requirements:

- Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Independent licensure eligibility in Ontario
- Preferring experience in inpatient oncology
- Capability to secure privileges at WRHN Midtown
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
