Title: Project Manager – AIX Cloud Migration Program

Location: Montreal, QC/Hybrid

Duration: 10 Months

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a complex enterprise migration initiative involving the transition of critical AIX, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Hyperion workloads from on-premises infrastructure to a cloud hyperscaler workplace. The successful candidate will drive end-to-end project delivery, coordinating technical teams, vendors, stakeholders, and migration activities to ensure successful execution, cutover, and stabilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8 years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise infrastructure or cloud transformation projects.
- Proven experience managing data centre and migration cutovers, hypercare support, infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of AIX, IBM Power Systems, Oracle databases, backup and recovery solutions, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and technical teams.
- Proficiency with project governance, risk management, and delivery reporting.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP,



or Agile delivery certification.
- ITIL Foundation or higher.
- Prosci Change Management Certification.
- IBM Power Systems / AIX certification.
- Oracle Database or Oracle Cloud certification.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Lead project planning, governance, scheduling, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, cloud, network, database, security, and application teams.
- Facilitate project status meetings, executive updates, and migration readiness reviews.
- Develop and oversee migration plans, cutover plans, testing activities, and hypercare support.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive collaboration across customer, service provider, and third-party teams using a “One Team” approach.
