Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber and Gasfitter to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems across various facilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Perform gas fitting tasks such as connecting and servicing gas lines and appliances in accordance with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations and repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other mechanical equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing and gas systems to prevent issues before they arise.
- Apply welding techniques such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding for pipe fabrication or repair work.
- Collaborate with team members on rigging, manufacturing processes,



or construction projects requiring specialized plumbing or gasfitting skills.

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience in plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), or related fields.
- Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, welding safety practices, and rigging techniques.
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for plumbing systems and gas fittings in various environments.
- Previous construction experience or manufacturing background is highly desirable.
- Ability to work safely following all relevant codes and regulations while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
