Fox On John is seeking a hardworking individual for the position of Host/Support Staff.

Fox On John is a neighborhood restaurant celebrating classic British fusion cuisine. Fox On John provokes a feeling of intimacy as an extension of the family home with a versatile function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Create a positive guest experience that begins with a friendly greeting and a warm smile
- Works closely with Managers to maximize restaurant seating through thoughtful planning & seating rotation
- Monitors table availability and plans future seating assignments during service periods
- Operates a waitlist when no seats are immediately available
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, table numbers and server sections
- Sets the tone of excellent service with each Guest interaction
- Recognize and acknowledge repeat guests
- Escort guests to their table, engage them in conversation and seat them accordingly
- Communicates with Servers & Managers providing seamless service
- Takes every opportunity to create memorable experience
- Sets up & maintains cleanliness throughout shift
- Assist with take-out orders and ensure orders are prepared as requested
- Efficiently maintain and organize restaurant by managing guest flow,



maximizing seating capacity and communicating all special requirements to both BOH and FOH

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

- Are you comfortable managing reservations, walk-ins, waitlists, phone calls, and guest questions at the same time?
- Are you comfortable professionally enforcing restaurant policies, even when a guest becomes frustrated?
