FCE is hiring experienced Hydrovac Operators to support a growing lineup of ongoing and upcoming projects. We operate a well‑maintained fleet of 2022–2026 hydrovac units and are seeking reliable, safety‑focused operators with strong work ethic and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac units for daylighting, trenching, and pipeline support
- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
- Maintain clean and safe equipment
- Follow all company and client safety procedures
- Work effectively with supervisors, clients, and crew members
Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years Hydrovac experience (required)
- Pipeline experience is an asset
Licenses
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license (required)
Safety Certifications (required)
- CSTS or PCST
- H2S Alive
- Fall Protection
- Ground Disturbance Level 2
- Standard First Aid
- Confined Space
Additional Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to Nisku, AB, or plan to relocate before starting
- Strong communication and safety awareness
- All safety tickets noted above must be current
