Diversified Staffing Services, Alberta's leading staffing agency is currently looking for Experienced Cooks for temporary opportunities within the Calgary Area.

The ideal candidates will take the lead in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Cooking a variety of meals including meats, seafood, soups, poultry and vegetables
- Ensure food is cooked, handled, stored and labeled according to FOODSAFE standards
- Washing, cutting and prepping food
- Operating a variety of kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, stoves, steamers, grills and broilers
- Performing a variety of cooking methods including, deep-frying, pan-frying, broiling, baking, grilling, sautéing, steaming, etc.

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

- Minimum 2-5 years of cooking and kitchen experience
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)




- Able to work shift work- morning, afternoons and evenings (not over-night)
- Need to have reliable transportation- not transit accessible
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if necessary
- A positive attitude with a passion for cooking, the food industry and customer service excellence
