This is a small business that works primarily on large custom homes where quality is the primary focus. Currently only a team of 2, but needing to find good fitting additions to keep up with the work load. Products often worked with include Hardie products including Lapped siding, panels, shingles and trim, various types of soffit including wood T&G;, wood and metal window and door trims, metal cladding like longboard and other similar products, and custom sheet metal work. We do not do vinyl siding or stone work. Most work is focused around north Nanaimo and Lantzville, but could occasionally be between Ladysmith and Parksville.

Expectations for Installer position:

- experience in installing materials mentioned above.

- is capable and comfortable operating powers tools as well as pneumatic tools.

- have all the necessary personal equipment such as tool belt, boots, personal tools, etc

- has a vehicle and valid drivers license and is able to get to various job sites.





- is comfortable with heights and has experience with ladders and pump jacks.

- can lift upwards of 50 lbs

- is reliable and is able to be counted on daily.

Expectations for helper position:

- has basic tool knowledge and is capable and comfortable operating power tools.

- has experience in measuring and cutting to accurate measurements.

- is comfortable with heights and ladders.

- can lift upwards of 50 lbs

- has personal equipment such as work boots, personal tools, and a tool belt.

- has a vehicle and a valid drivers license and is capable of getting to various job sites.

- is reliable and can be counted on daily.

Wages will depend on experience and knowledge.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
