Part-Time Dental Assistant

Location: Ottawa, Canada

Employment Type: Part-time (2–3 days per week)

Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures
- Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and equipment
- Take dental radiographs and impressions as directed
- Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and charts
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices




- Uphold infection control and sterilization standards
- Contribute to a positive, professional team culture

Qualifications

- Certified Dental Assistant (Level II preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Dental Assistant
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with dental software and digital radiography is an asset
