Our client, a leading Canadian wholesaler supplying Walmart USA and other major North American retailers, is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead its end-to-end logistics and transportation operations.

This role will oversee the movement of goods from overseas factories through Canadian warehouses to Walmart USA distribution centers, ensuring on-time deliveries, retailer compliance, inventory accuracy, and cost-effective transportation.

The ideal candidate has experience within a wholesale, consumer goods, apparel, or retail environment and a strong understanding of cross-border logistics and Walmart USA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage inbound and outbound logistics supporting Walmart USA.
- Coordinate international shipments, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and 3PL partners.
- Ensure compliance with Walmart routing guides, shipping standards, and OTIF performance.
- Oversee cross-border transportation between Canada and the U.S.
- Partner with Sales, Production, Sourcing, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless product flow.
- Monitor inventory movement, shipment schedules, freight costs, and logistics KPIs.
- Resolve transportation issues, chargebacks, freight claims, and delivery exceptions.




- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize supply chain performance.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience within a wholesaler, importer, manufacturer, or consumer goods company.
- Direct experience supporting Walmart USA is required.
- Robust knowledge of cross-border transportation, imports, customs processes, and retailer compliance.
- Experience managing freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, EDI, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience supplying major U.S. retailers such as Walmart, Costco, Target, Amazon, or Sam's Club.
- Knowledge of Walmart Retail Link is an asset.
