Job Overview

As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your focus will be on efficiently managing laundry services, ensuring all linens and clothing are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our residents through attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Duties

- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and resident personal items with care and precision
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure all laundry is properly sanitized




- Keep accurate records of laundry cycles and supplies used
- Assist with general cleaning duties in resident areas as needed to support overall facility hygiene
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and clothing

Qualifications

- Previous experience in hotel laundry or healthcare laundry services is preferred
- Knowledge of laundry procedures, cleaning techniques, and infection control standards
- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive team attitude
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
