Position Summary

The Production Team Member is responsible for supporting day-to-day manufacturing and assembly operations by performing mechanical assembly, basic electrical wiring, product packaging, and general production activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are assembled safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting Lind Equipment quality standards and production schedules.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to build and prepare products including static grounding equipment, grounding cables, string lights, tripod lighting systems, explosion-proof lighting products, and other portable power and lighting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Assembly

- Assemble manufactured components into finished products.
- Build static grounding equipment and grounding cable assemblies.
- Assemble string lights, temporary lighting systems, and tripod lighting products.
- Assemble explosion-proof lighting products according to established work instructions.
- Install hardware, brackets, fasteners, labels, and accessories.
- Perform minor fabrication and fitting as required.

Basic Electrical Assembly

- Perform basic wiring and electrical connections according to work instructions.
- Route and secure wiring harnesses and cables.




- Assemble electrical components using hand and power tools.
- Conduct basic continuity and functionality checks.
- Follow electrical assembly procedures and quality standards.

Packaging & Shipping Support

- Package finished goods for shipment.
- Verify quantities and product configuration prior to packaging.
- Apply labels and prepare products for customer delivery.
- Assist with shipping and logistics activities as required.

Production Support

- Assist other departments when workload demands require.
- Maintain workstations in a clean and organized condition.
- Move materials and components throughout the facility.
- Support inventory counts and stock replenishment activities.
- Follow production schedules and priorities established by supervision.

Qualifications

Education

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience considered an asset.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude required.
- Basic electrical assembly experience considered an asset.

Skills & Abilities

- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.




- Ability to read basic drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to adapt to changing production priorities.

Physical Requirements

- Standing for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting of materials and components up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, reaching, carrying, and manual handling.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and production equipment.

Safety Responsibilities

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Participate in safety meetings and training activities.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
