Overview

Join our team as an Early Childhood Educator at our Reggio Inspired daycare! Working alongside our long-term staff, you will help support a small group of children 3-5yrs as well as ASC for school aged children. We have a beautiful space, both indoors and out. We often go off-site exploring the local parks and beach; this job would suit someone who values enabling children to make these connections with nature and the wider community.

Duties

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Lead circle time with children
- Help adjust the space to meet the needs/routine of the day
- Update families regarding their child's interactions and experiences

Experience

- Proven experience (5yr+) working with children in educational or caregiving settings
- Classroom experience that demonstrates ability to manage groups and activities effectively
- Experience working in an outdoor/nature based program an asset
- Art education experience an asset

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
