About the Role:
We're currently hiring a Truck Transport Diesel Mechanic to help keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. This role involves everything from preventative maintenance to diagnostics and repairs on commercial vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on trucks, loaders, tractors, and heavy equipment
- Complete MGI safeties and A/C repairs
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic software
- Test and adjust systems to manufacturer specifications
- Repair or replace components as needed
- Communicate with team members, drivers, and vendors
- Support building maintenance as required
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Solid understanding of tools, diagnostics, and heavy-duty repair procedures
- Proficiency with diagnostic software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with sound decision-making abilities
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals, schedules, and procedures
