Maintenance Technician and Supervisor

Purpose: Support the production and facility of Q air with machine repair and modifications, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Supervise and support staff with any inquiries or concerns. Maintain communications between buildings in terms of paperwork or correspondence.

Manage production line department in terms of production and quality.

Maintenance Requirements

1) Perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and optimum functioning of equipment, systems and processes.

2) Troubleshoot, repair and modify equipment to maintain production efficiency and workplace safety.

3) Generate parts list, work with vendors supplying parts and give estimates for the maintenance and repairs.

4) Train shop teammates on any recent equipment and / or modifications to existing equipment

5) Experience working with mechanical, pneumatic and basic electrical and maintenance and repairs.

6) Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams

7) Must be organized and detail-oriented

8) Effective verbal and written communication

Supervisor Requirements

1.



Manage and support staff with any issues and concerns

2. Allocate staff to maximize efficiency and productivity.

3. Distribute proper paperwork and ensure orders are being completed in a timely manner.

Production Line Requirements

1. Operate a CNC Machine to create pleat packs

2. Manufacture completed filters

3. Ensure orders are completed in a timely manner

Special demands

· Overtime hours when required

· Start prior to or after production hours when needed.

· Travel to other facility

· Must be familiar with and adhere to Q-Air and OH&S; standards

Physical demands

· Heavy lifting as required

· Working conditions may be noisy, dusty and hot or cold

Starting Wage $36.00 per hour

Full Time – 40 hours per week

3 month probationary period

Benefits program to commence after probationary period
