About Us:
Happy Kids Nutrition Academy is a growing e-learning business dedicated to empowering learners ages 8 to 18 with expert-led education in nutrition, food science, exercise science, and health. Our comprehensive courses run from 8 weeks to 32 weeks long, making learning interactive and fun to help the next generation build lifelong healthy habits and a positive relationship with food.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Online Educator to teach our specialized courses for learners ages 8-18.

Courses to Teach:

- Nutrigenetics for Teens: How Genes Influence Your Nutrition (Tuesdays & Wednesdays, September 8 – October 27, 6:00 PM Atlantic)
- Advanced Health & Nutritional Science: The Complete Full-Year Curriculum (Tuesdays & Fridays, September 15, 2026 – May 7, 2027, 7:00 PM Atlantic)
- Health Curriculum: Nutrition, Food Science, Hygiene, and Fitness (Grades 3-6) (Wednesdays & Thursdays, September 9 – October 29, 5:00 PM Atlantic)

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging, evidence-based online classes to learners via Zoom.
- Facilitate interactive discussions, hands-on kitchen labs, and activities centered around food science, biochemistry, and human physiology.
- Guide students through comprehensive curriculums covering macronutrients, food processing, digestion, sports nutrition, and nutrigenetics.
- Review student assignments, provide constructive feedback, and foster a supportive, encouraging online learning environment.
- Work independently, managing lesson delivery and student engagement without direct daily supervision.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Applied Human Nutrition, Food Science,



Biology, or a related field.
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional teaching space.
- Comfortable teaching via Zoom with strong, engaging presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and keep students actively engaged throughout each session.
- Previous experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring teenagers, preteens, or children.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, engaging virtual presence.
- Passion for evidence-based nutrition education and youth wellness.
- Completion of required background screening and mandated reporter training (or willingness to complete upon hire).
- Police Background check required
