Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, L&A; Metalworks Inc. is a trusted metal fabricator serving a select group of OEMs that supply critical infrastructure to industrial clients—including oil refineries and power-generating plants. With a reputation for precision and reliability, L&A; manufactures complex, made-to-print process systems designed for gas flow diversion and pollution extraction.

This is an ideal opportunity for an up-and-coming Project Manager with an engineering background who is looking to take the next step in their career.

What you’ll be doing:

- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and steel-related projects
- Work closely with senior leadership and the current Project Manager to learn established processes and best practices
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks or challenges




- Assist with project documentation, reporting, and scheduling
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

What we are looking for:

- 5–10 years of experience in construction, steel, or a related industry
- Engineering background considered a solid asset
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading projects in an industrial or construction environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of responsibilities
- Motivated to learn from senior leadership and grow into a long-term leadership role
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Collaborative team environment with opportunities to grow and develop professionally

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
