Superior Powder Coatings is North Vancouver’s only dedicated powder coating shop in the North Shore, with a reputation for top-quality work and excellent customer service.

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking team member to join our two-person shop and work directly alongside the owner. You’ll be involved in every stage of the process, from prep work to finished product, and will take direction on daily tasks and priorities. This is a physically active role; you'll be on your feet, lifting, and moving parts and equipment throughout the day.

Duties

- Greet and assist visitors/customers
- Handle heavy pieces and move them around the shop
- Perform pretreatment processes — chemical cleaning, rinsing, and surface prep
- Hang and rack parts for coating
- Keep the shop area clean and organized
- Assist with any additional tasks or duties as needed

Skills & Experience

- Background in shop work, welding, fabrication, or powder coating an asset
- Comfortable racking and handling heavier parts/equipment
- Physical fitness an asset
- Efficient and effective work habits
- Good communication skills; proficient in English (Farsi is a plus)
- Willingness to learn and grow with the shop

Growth Opportunity

This role has room to grow. As you settle in, there’s the opportunity to be trained in powder coating application and painting techniques, with pay increasing as you take on those skills. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with the shop long-term.

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
