Who We are Looking for

- A professional that believes in treating patients based on their needs, goals and preferences.
- Be able to provide thorough assessment of patients’ primary complaints, establish a clinical impression, create treatment plan, execute treatments, and refer to other allied health professionals
- Self-motivated and autonomous, yet able to work in a team to discuss patient cases, provide best practice care and get promising results
- Delegate treatments to other fellow practitioners (ie. Kinesiologists & Certified Athletic Therapists)
- Capable of working collaboratively with the rest of the team, and open to learning new skills and developing your practice




- Capable of implementing both manual therapy techniques and corrective exercise routines for remedial exercise
- Eager to learn and develop through taking future educational courses and certifications in the health and fitness industry
- Be able to instruct patients through muscle activation techniques and postural exercises during rehab stages of their treatment plan

Responsibilities

- Design sessions and Treatment Plans around patients’ needs and specific concerns.
- Take detailed medical histories from patients, including information about any injuries or conditions
- Suggest and design treatment plans for recurring sessions
- Talk with patients about assessment details, clinical impressions, symptoms, and desired results
- Delegate treatment plans and work collaboratively with other health care professional
- Communicate with team on best strategies to ensure optimal patient care
- Be able to implement early rehab exercises based on postural dysfunctions
- Provide patients with guidance on lengthening, strengthening and how to improve their overall posture
- Document patient's condition and progress/ SOAP notes
- Talk with patients about assessment details, diagnosis, symptoms, medical history, and desired results

Qualifications & Skills

- Current and valid Registration with your governing body, in good standing.
- 1-2 years experience as a professional is preferred but new graduates welcomed
- Experience working in a therapy centre, multi-disciplinary centre, or rehab centre preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Excellent customer service and communication.
- Willing to provide humanitarian/community service work for both the publics benefit and your own
- Certified in CPR and first aid (an asset)
- Successful candidates must be friendly, reliable, and patient focused
- Please provide proof of Professional Liability Insurance

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
