Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our commitment to exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct heavy lifting using appropriate tools and equipment such as forklifts or cranes to facilitate repairs.
- Repair and maintain specialized machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Execute welding and fabrication tasks to repair or modify parts as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with the assembly of new equipment or parts during upgrades or installations.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with heavy-duty vehicles and industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques.
- Experience working with schematics for electrical or hydraulic systems to accurately diagnose issues.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for HVAC systems on large vehicles or machinery is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding repairs or maintenance needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
