Shift & Schedule: Monday-Friday, regular business hours

Hourly Wage: 30.00-35.00 (commensurate with experience)

About you:

The ideal candidate possesses a learning orientation and high attention to detail. They have a passion for sustainability and innovative building technology with the goal of growing into a senior role as designer and or trades specialist. A background in construction, specifically in HVAC, plumbing, or metal roofing and cladding is considered a major asset.

Role Accountabilities:

- Assist the lead designer in completing 2D & 3D modeling assignments
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications and guidelines for production
- Interpret blueprints with high degree of accuracy
- Organize and assign attributes to CAD elements
- Generate production lists and CNC files for manufacturing
- File management, maintenance,



and formatting for export to clients
- Generate detailed requests for information
- Perform site work under supervision in the fabrication shop or on the job site
- Operate heavy equipment such as arial work platforms and reach forklifts
- Deliver goods to the designated sites using heavy duty vehicles and trailers

Minimum Qualifications:

- Journeyperson certification in plumbing, HVAC, and or metal roofing and siding
- Work experience in construction, architecture, or engineering considered an asset
- Valid Drivers license in B.C.

Technical & Skill Requirements:

- Proficiency in CADWORK Mass timber software (2D & 3D)
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Clickup project management
- Knowledge of the BC Building Code & familiarity with wood framed construction materials
- Proven ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Demonstrated attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Solution-oriented with a creative approach to problem solving

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per year
