Responsibilities

- Assist lead painters with surface preparation including sanding, masking, and caulking to ensure smooth finishes.
- Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during painting and rigging tasks.
- Support the setup and breakdown of work areas by rigging scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment as needed.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming according to project specifications.
- Read schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial painting jobs.




- Mix paints and materials accurately while adhering to safety guidelines for handling chemicals.
- Maintain a clean work setting by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Skills

- Construction experience with a focus on painting or related trades such as carpentry or rigging.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and schematics for accurate project execution.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and scaffolding setup.
- Knowledge of restoration processes along with residential and commercial painting practices.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding project needs.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction through quality workmanship.
