We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for a part-time, six-month term position.
Duties
- Conduct environmental and blood sampling on-farm.
- Assist with on-farm programs.
Experience and Attributes
- proven experience in a veterinary or animal health setting is required
- be highly organized
- be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- have a reliable vehicle and valid drivers' license
- be willing to travel weekly within the province
- adhere to biosecurity standards outlined by MCP
- be registered with MVTA
- competent in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Outlook).
MCP offers a market-competitive salary, benefits and pension. This position may be a remote position, but frequent travel to Winnipeg is required. Hours are relatively flexible, average 20 hours per week.
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
