Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Welders Helper and play a vital role in supporting skilled welders to produce high-quality metal fabrications. This energetic position offers an exciting chance to develop your technical skills in welding, rigging, machining, and assembly within a fast-paced environment. As a Welders Helper, you will assist with preparing materials, handling tools, and ensuring safety standards are maintained, all while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

- Assist welders with setting up and rigging equipment for various welding operations, including MIG and TIG welding processes.
- Support in preparing materials by measuring, cutting, and fitting components using plasma cutters, press brake machines, hand tools, and power tools.
- Help maintain and operate machinery such as crane systems, forklifts, and machining equipment to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications and assist in assembly tasks.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations by maintaining a clean work area and using personal protective equipment.
- Support in the inspection of completed welds using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.




- Assist with the fabrication of ductwork, structural components, and other metal assemblies for construction or manufacturing projects.

Experience

- Prior experience or training in rigging, mechanical knowledge, or construction is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills is advantageous.
- Experience working with welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding enhances your ability to support skilled welders effectively.
- Knowledge of plasma cutting, press brake machines, forklifts, crane operation, and machining equipment is a plus.
- Candidates with construction experience or familiarity with ductwork fabrication will find this role especially rewarding.

Pay: $30.00-$31.50 per hour
