WILMAC Construction is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team.

This position is ideal for an experienced operator who takes pride in maintaining a safe and productive job site while working alongside our field crews. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various pieces of equipment to support daily construction activities and assist the site team as needed.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a forklift, skid steer, and mini excavator.
- Transport, load, unload, and move materials around the job site.
- Assist with excavation, grading, backfilling,



and site preparation.
- Support carpenters and other trades by ensuring materials and equipment are where they're needed.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and site procedures.
- Perform general labour duties when equipment is not in use.

Qualifications

- Experience operating:
- Forklift
- Skid Steer
- Mini Excavator

- Previous commercial construction experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Schedule

- Full time employment
- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 44 hours per week
- Primary work location: Charlottetown, Summerside & surrounding areas.
