Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Associate to join our Sales Operations team. This role provides administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient management of customer accounts, sales orders, inventory reporting, and internal coordination.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, documentation, and multiple departments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Sales Support & Administration
- Provide administrative support to the Sales team, including preparing reports and maintaining documentation.
- Manage assigned house accounts and support customer account activities.
- Process sales orders, invoices, credit requests, and delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing information, and order data.
- Monitor order status and coordinate timely follow-up on deliveries, returns, and customer inquiries.
- Assist with sales reconciliations and other account-related administrative tasks.
- Support the Accounting team with sales documentation and follow-up requests.
Coordination & Order Fulfillment
- Work closely with Warehouse, Logistics, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
- Communicate order updates and inventory information to internal stakeholders and Buyers.
- Assist in resolving order-related issues and discrepancies.
Inventory & Reporting
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock reconciliation processes.
- Monitor inventory movement and prepare inventory reports.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within ERP systems, Excel spreadsheets, and internal databases.
- Generate operational and sales reports as required.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales support, administrative support, procurement, customer service, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience working with ERP systems or business management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience in the FMCG, food distribution, wholesale, or perishable goods industry.
- Knowledge of inventory management, procurement documentation, and order processing.
- Experience with meat, poultry, seafood, or related food products.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
