Position: Early Childhood Educator- Program Lead

Shift: Full Time (Split Shift Approx 7-11:30 and 3-6)

Hours: 37.5 Hours/wk

Location: TBD (Hamilton)

Rate of Pay: $29.56/hr

Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Work, or Recreation & Leisure
- In good Standing with the College of Early Childhood Educator (if applicable)
- Standard First aid/CPR level C certification
- Vulnerable sector check and police check (done in the last 6 months)
- Record of up to date Immunization (TB Test, Tetanus, Polio, MMR)
- Experience working with children from 4-12 years of age in a child care setting
- Minimum 2 year supervisory Experience
- Minimum 5 years ECE experience (not including placements)
- Technology skills an asset
- Valid Drivers License

Role of Program Lead

- Permanent 10 Month Position




- Mentor staff and support continuous learning
- Develop knowledge of current and emerging ministry curriculum
- Become a leader in Early Childhood Education
- Work 37.5 hours per week (split shift)
- Play a dual role as both an educator and administrator
- Administrative tasks- reporting to subsidy etc.
